As we head into week three of self-quarantine, I'm sharing a list of my favorite binge-worthy television shows to inspire you to stay at home and stream (with six feet in between).

 

Designated Survivor

Stuck in self-quarantine and searching for a few family game night ideas? I'm sharing five of our favorites that will guarantee an evening of fun-filled competition!

 

1. Wink | 8+ | $13.59 | Amazon

How to play: Players try to secretly wink at one another without getting caught by their opponents. But if a player's wink gets caught in the act, their opponent can accuse them to steal all their points. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!

 

2. Exploding Kittens | 7+ | $11.99 | Amazon

How to play: Players draw cards until someone draws an exploding kitten, at which point they explode, die and are out of the game — unless that player has a defuse card. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the exploding kittens. The last player alive wins the game!

 

3. One Night Ultimate Alien | 8+ | $16.99 | Amazon


How to play: Press a button on the free app, and it walks you through a night scenario. Then you have five minutes to discuss what happened at night and figure out who the aliens are! If you find an alien, you win, but if you don't, they win!

 

4. Totally Gross! The Game of Science | 8+ | $6.99 | Walmart

How to play: Players travel around the game board answering questions and engaging in antics. The first player to stretch his/her Totally Gross Slime 10 point spaces and complete a lab experiment correctly wins the game!

 

5. Beat the Parents | 6+ | $17.98 | eBay

How to play: Adults answer questions about kids’ stuff and the kids answer questions their parents should really know. The first team to get both mover pieces across the board wins!
